Its time to stand up and be counted. Yes Local Government is struggling with the impact of the next round of budget reductions and yes they have really difficult decision to make but it does not justify them abdicating responsibility for the smaller parts of their authorities. Whilst it might not be popular to support regulators, without proper regulation that balances the needs of businesses and consumers things deteriorate to the point of failure.
